Your first sales funnel: map an honest user journey

A funnel should support an informed decision and a reliable action. Clarify the offer, requested information and follow-up before choosing a platform.

Define the useful action

Choose a specific outcome: quotation, booking or purchase. Explain what the person receives and what happens next. Steps should reduce uncertainty instead of stretching the journey artificially or hiding the price until late in the process.

Prepare page and form

Show verifiable benefits, conditions and contact details. Request only information needed for the chosen action. Identify optional fields, and explain how to correct errors without discarding the person’s work. Test the form labels as well as its appearance.

Verify confirmation and follow-up

Exercise success and failure. A thank-you page should not claim verified payment when only a click was observed. Give a realistic response time and a way to locate the request afterwards. Handle undelivered submissions explicitly.

Learn without trapping people

Review abandonment, questions and genuinely qualified enquiries. Respect marketing and tracking choices. Conversion improvement does not require false countdowns, invented testimonials or preselected consent options.
