Choose a concrete question
Describe what someone can do after watching. Demonstrations, interviews and tutorials need different structures. Plan steps, supporting documents and methodological limits before recording, rather than adding a vague introduction after editing.
Provide a text answer
Publish a summary, key points and a reviewed transcript. Important information should not depend on sound. If you include chapters, match their labels to the actual recording instead of filling them with loosely related keywords.
Test playback and imagery
Check mobile playback and keyboard access. Thumbnails should represent the recording honestly. Reserve media space to reduce page movement and show a clear message if an external service or connection prevents playback.
Describe what actually exists
Duration, dates and structured data should match the visible video. A historical audience statistic does not establish current demand. Measure whether the material helps someone complete a task or understand a decision.
- Define question
- Write and record
- Test playback

Worked example
Tutorial acceptance plan: one question, a three-step demonstration, a transcript, a supporting download and a final check. Also test the journey of someone who never starts the player.
