Write the audience, subject, target length and conversation structure. Send questions in time and verify sensitive facts before recording. Guests should understand intended uses of their voice, name and excerpts rather than learning them after publication.
Assign technical responsibilities
Specify speakers, remote recording, backup and incident recovery. Ask which formats will be delivered and what editing includes. A promise of audio quality without recording conditions is hard to assess or accept fairly.
Plan rights and reuse
Clarify music, images, quotations and participant permissions. Technical ability to create an excerpt does not authorise every use. Decide who approves corrections and how justified requests will be handled after publication.
Make episodes accessible
Provide a summary, useful chapters and a reviewed transcript. Verify names and figures instead of publishing raw automatic transcription. Keep a stable page containing sources and a player so the episode remains discoverable.
