Strategy

Promoting educational websites by helping people learn

Discovery should lead to an understandable learning resource. Prepare levels, objectives and exercises before deciding where to promote it.

Describe audience and level

State prerequisites, language and learning objectives. Beginner material should not hide explanations behind specialist vocabulary. Teachers and learners can search for the same concept while needing different kinds of assistance.

Build a useful lesson

Combine explanation, example and a check. Provide exercise answers or an appropriate verification method. A collection of repeated definitions cannot replace a progression that helps someone understand and perform a task. Make limitations and prerequisites visible.

Choose relevant distribution

Present the resource to communities and partners that can use it. Explain its contribution instead of posting the same message everywhere. Review participation rules and disclose commercial connections where relevant to the recommendation.

Preserve trust and accessibility

Identify who reviews content and how errors can be reported. Minimise requested learner data and support accessible reading. Assess understanding and completed tasks rather than relying solely on time spent or registrations.
