Paid-search campaigns: define the brief and stopping criteria

A paid-search brief should connect need, advert, destination and offer economics. An agency or platform does not replace those decisions.

Define a specific offer

Identify audience, problem and intended action. Verify price, availability and conditions on the destination page. Advertising should match what can actually be obtained; an appealing message leading to a different offer creates clicks without resolving the expected need.

Build a controlled scope

Group coherent intentions and document those you do not want to cover. Avoid launching every variation without review capacity. A pilot should make it understandable what was tested, for whom and during which period, with changes recorded.

Prepare commercial follow-up

Check forms or orders, confirmations and conversion definitions. Separate submitted enquiry, qualified enquiry and sale. Without reconciliation, cost per form cannot establish acquisition profitability. Verify the responsible team receives and handles test enquiries.

Set boundaries

Define maximum budget, review frequency and stopping conditions such as unavailable offers, broken collection or commercially incompatible costs. Record changes and results. Do not promise organic rankings or profitable acquisition before observing outcomes.
